Marshall and Jesse’s story has all the feels! This is a beautifully written story about characters that you will fall in love with. It is steamy, intimate, heartfelt love story that will keep you glued to your kindle until the lasti had really liked Marshall from the previous book and i am so glad that we got to see so much depth in his character. Jesse was also a surprisingly delightful character and i enjoyed how he noticed everything from the birds, the food to the feelings of love. These guys are so great together.One of my favorite quotes from the book is:'As unlikely as it had seemed from the start, we were now like one combined presence,;,,,
Jesse had just arrived in Winchester and was being harassed by a paparazzo when Marshall saw what was happening and rescued him. Marshall had previous experience working as security and thought he'd apply for the bodyguard job Jesse had posted after lots of prodding from people at The Chisel. Jesse and Marshall had so much in common despite outward appearances. They were so unbelievable sweet together and every time Jesse saw Marshall interact with his mother, Jesse's heart just melted.'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.'
I've been curious about Marshall since he was introduced. Stoic, quiet and yet there seemed to be much more under the surface. This gay for you romance really let him shine. Upon meeting Jesse, things shift for Marshall. He's drawn to the genuinely sweet, kind guy that Jesse is. It was wonderful to see the whole town not only give Jesse space from his fame to be himself, but they openly welcomed the two of them as a couple. There is very little angst and a sweet ending to leave me with a huge smile.
Oh my gosh!!! This is my new favorite romance book!!! I foresee me re-reading this book over and over again! I loved this book!!!! Marshall and Jesse are perfect for each other! They fully accept each other as they are and blend themselves together as a couple so perfectly!! It's low drama just a sweet story between these two men!!! The way that the author describes Jesse's thought on Marshall is some of the most moving beautiful poetry I have ever read! I highly recommend this book!!!L
This book got me going just with the title. It's a very sweet book with very little angst. Jesse an actor of a very popular soap opera takes a sabbatical and hires Marshall as his bodyguard. He's a tall, handsome, muscular and stoic man that knows what he's doing. He's also very kind and sweet. The two fall for each other and the story takes off from there. I enjoyed this book immensely, and recommend it highly.
Another short sweet story. A classic really, the celebrity and the bodyguard. A kinda GFY in a way but totally void of angst, drama and all that. It just seemed all natural, easy and unreal all at the same time.It worked for me ^^I'll keep reading 📖

He is nothing like the distant, arrogant diva that Marshall expects. Jesse is down-to-earth, kind, appreciative, and easy to get along with. Marshall has never been with a man before, but he has a surprisingly strong attraction to Jesse, yet he is determined to keep it to himself. When he learns that Jesse feels the same way, they fall into a comfortable, considerate physical relationship. Things are fine for a while, until Marshall overhears Jesse talking to his manager about a deal of a lifetime that entails Jesse coming back weeks before he is supposed to. At this point, Marshall withdraws to keep himself from being any more heartbroken that he will already be.I enjoyed seeing Marshall again. He was a mysterious person in the last story, but he seemed like a nice guy. It was interesting to learn more about him. It was good to be able to visit with the other characters in the series as well. I really liked Jesse and was thrilled that he was so atypical from what I usually thought for a movie star.
