To my knowledge, in the last 20 years, there has been no such treatise on the little known Central Pain Syndrome. This is a vicious pain syndrome which has otherwise been considered incurable by countless doctors. The procedure is presented as a cure, but you have to read it all carefully. The pain from this syndrome is constant and ever-present, completely disabling, and by itself magnifies every other pain in your body, but this treatise presents curative surgery with good results, though not 100% certain.
The meat is at the front of each chapter, followed by study results.
Very informative and accessible. Probably the most comprehensive review of this little known and historically neglected condition. Provides a rational evidenced based treatment algorithm. Well worth the read
