After reading A Course in Miracles and Disappearance of Universe (metaphysics texts), I was FLOORED to discover TWV - it is not something 90% of the readers will pick up on without reading those texts first, but this is NOT a story line kids, this is THE story line. I love how sweet Dolores put down in words the basis of everything that we need to know and it is like a giant swoosh over most everyone's head. There are morsels of incredible and unprecedented insight in her books. Thank you Dolores, for all your hard work and perseverance, this will matter to so many in so many ways! We know you are still with us!

This are the answers I have been looking for four a very long time, for years I ask the living creator to show me the way to change the world around me, how do I show love to Mother Earth? I always looked into the universe and stars to hear the answers because I new that the answers were out there.Now I understand the events I have experience during the night when I notice I was been taken somewhere to learn and to participate and do my part in this amazing work I'm part of!

Ever since I found out about Dolores Cannon's work and her books I've been really interested in them. I wanted to see all her videos, meet her, get a session myself and of course devour all of the books she wrote so this was the first one I bought as I identified myself with one of those waves. For those interested in past/present/future life times being altered by our deeds in the current era and how much knowledge is at our fingertips yet hidden by the mainstream media as some sort of occultism, this book and others she wrote are for you! You will feel identified with many things mentioned in it and feel a deep loving resonance with the your heart's true for THIS is not fiction! It's real and it's something we'll experience more and more as time goes by and the veil lifts, thins and vanishes with the old way of thinking.

As a former Catholic and seminarian, I find Dolores Cannon's writings about our existence more sensible than anything else I've read.

I think I preferred reading The Custodians as The Three Waves gets a little redundant, but so far what I've read confirms something I've felt for a long time now but was lacking the proper context. I find this book extremely relevant for what's going on today. I have not read the last few chapters so when I do I'll update.Edit: Finished the book with the exception of reading like 4 peoples accounts, so like a few pages here and there but over all a great book where I found some of the accounts to mirror my experiences giving me more pieces to fit to this curious puzzle. I'm aware that some criticize Dolores for being too blinded by the light so to speak, glossing over that some of these beings may have a darker agenda but I went in with my heart open rather than my eyes whilst reading and much of it resonates. I like the energy of the book and ended it feeling hopeful, empowered and even proud.

This book answered tons of my questions about 2012 and the so-called Shift, Apocalypse, etc. Dolores does not use generic or ambiguous terminology. She straight up tells you what her research has indicated, and it is more explicit than anything else I've come across.Ever since I saw a web video of Dolores discussing the Nostradamus stuff, I immediately trusted her but forgot about her until another author recommended Dolores' book The Custodians. I am glad I read The Custodians and The Convoluted Universe series prior to reading The Three Waves of Volunteers, but I don't think these are pre-requisites. The info in The Three Waves was easier for me to read and absorb. The material is also consistent with other authors' material about the Crystal Children, the Indigo Children, the Star People, etc.There are some formatting issues with the Kindle version, for example there are a lot of quotation marks instead of apostrophes. I (did"t) let it bother me, because the information is solid and I am so glad that we are blessed with a reliable source of information about the big transition.Thanks Dolores!

I'd rather not write a long review of this book -- I simply do not know what to think. For those interested in metaphysics, I should maybe say that it goes (mostly) rather against the books of Dr Michael Newton and Brian Weiss ... It's more about aliens and ET's, and our rather intimate connection to them, which we know nothing about in our daily lives. Dolores Cannon uses a deep form of hynotherapy and gets her information in this way from her clients (or patients). As she could not possibly have made up any of these stories, it remains a deep mystery to the reader ... and whether it's all to be believed. While you read it, you believe it all. Afterwards you may start to wonder ... By all means, read it and make up your own mind. I tend to think the aliens and their worlds really do exist -- after all, what do we know about the Universe? (Or Universes?) We know nothing. Earth is a lowly, harsh planet.

Just about every answer to the questions of existence you can think of! This book is not only vital for "volunteers" (I am a mission-based, second wave volunteer, as it turns out), but is also critical for anyone searching for their purpose. great novel, wonderful, true life story

I was absolutely absorbed by this book. I looked forward to every time I picked it up to read. I must start by saying that I am Jewish and absolutely do NOT share the religious views of Corrie Ten Boom. But, this story is so engrossing and moving that my religious views were irrelevant. This is the remarkable story of a remarkable family that literally laid their lives out to save Jews in Holland during WWII. These are people I wish I could hug. Don't be put off by the religious views expressed. Those views caused heroic people to show mercy and empathy in the most brutal period in recent history. The views were not preachy. I only wish that I could do something good for any person that would give respect for the wonderful people in this story.

Nothing in the description informs the reader that this is an abridged version. Many key parts have been cut and section edited and changed so that they read dramatically differently. I ended having to re-buy the other version (the 35th anniversary one) so I could have the entire book.

I have read this book probably 6 times over the course of my life. You think I’d be tired of it by now. Not only do I love reading it and getting something new from it each time, I make sure I have a copy on hand to give out to others. Yes, it is that good. It is a true story of a tragic time in the history of mankind. It details the love, warmth and courage of a family of three; an elderly father and his two spinster daughters who risk everything to save their Jewish neighbors and strangers alike from the Nazi death camps. Read this book! You will not regret it!

It's taken me 6 decades to finally get around to reading Corrie ten Boom's remarkable story. I'm in awe at Corrie's honesty in her weakness, but more in the faith in both Corrie and her sister,Betsy, that sustained them through atrocities I can only imagine....A faith that even enabled them to find joy in fleas! Reading this story has certainly put my own difficulties into perspective and has inspired me to look so much more closely at my own faith. I am truly grateful that I have been so blessed, but I know now that I have to trust God more in every aspect of my life. Thank you, Corrie ten Boom, for sharing your story and for sharing the love of God with a very dark world.

Riveting true story of occupied Holland during WWII. Could not put down, though I knew the unspeakable would occur. A good reminder for today of how fascism starts: First the "state" controls the media and commerce, then bullying comes, with rationing, brutality, curfews, disappearances, genocide. But the hatred, oppression and unspeakable crimes against humanity did not stop the love and good works of this extremely talented, intelligent and faithful family. Their love, their story, and the Resistance, has survived. With many family photos that remind one of one's own relatives only a generation or so ago, and make the story unquestionably come to life. An excellent, excellent read for lovers or history, mystery, or human drama.

For several years, my wife kept trying to convince me to read The Hiding Place. But I thought it sounded like a little child's book. So I kept putting it off. Boy, was I wrong! What an awesome story. i own all of Vance's sci fi novels, and probably a dozen GURPS game books. This one was a great read - as always with GURPS you have to wonder how often the gamebooks turn into actual games, but with this one I will say that if i ever get the opportunity to play it i will jump at the chance. The one caveat is that per Vance's request as a concession to the limeys the name "Wankh" became the "Wannek" in this game book, which is a little strange to a longtime reader of the original yankee version of the novels but easily ignored. Otherwise the game book is true to the novels, and provides a wonderful gazetteer of Tschai. The adventure ideas are good, and the game play is typical GURPS (which is to say, fairly easy to understand and seems easy to play - but the book is worth a buy/read even if you never play it). All in all a great read for any fan of the novels. EDIT: So years after I bought this, I have to say that it has really great artwork too. I can't read the novels without imagining the alien races looking exactly like they are depicted in this book, and I find myself pulling it out all the time when I start thinking about the Pnume, etc. If anyone ever plays it, please invite me! :-)

This book was so just what I needed! Something witty,funny and looking at life through the eyes of the legendary Peter Falk! He kept it simple,he was real and I love the fact that he paid honor to his first wife Alyce and to his 2nd wife! The photos in here are lovely,the only bad thing about this book is the fact that HE WASN'T MOE GREEN! I mean after reading this book I'm heart broken to know that,.we could've had our beloved COLUMBO IN THE GODFATHER! But truly this book is terrific,what else can you expect from one of the greatest actors in history!

Peter Falk tells how he was in some remote place, in Africa, I think, when he was approached by some local kids who smiled and waved. "Columbo!" they shouted.Falk talks about his raincoated character as well as other experiences in his life in small chapter, anecdotal form. He spends a couple of the chapters discussing how he came up with the Columbo character, what made Columbo tick, and even his use of the raincoat and where he got the beat-up old Peugot Columbo drove. Interviewed on the Actor's Studio by James Lipton, he's asked what he would like to hear God say when he arrived in heaven. Falk answered, "How much are those shoes?" a typical Columbo line he ad-libbed during an early episode.He also talks about other experiences in a chronological order, people he worked with, jobs he had, jokes, and more. He tells about the acting insight he got from orson Welles who was fed his line just before delivery through an earpiece. There was his arrest in Eastern Europe where he and his girlfriend were galivanting. He commented briefly on the skills of the late Patrick (Braveheart, TV's The Prisoner) McGoohan, who was a frequent Columbo guest villain as well as director of some episodes. There's his glee shared with co-star Alan Arkin that the Michael Douglas remake of their classic, The In laws, tanked at the box office. There are a few chapters about his friend John Cassavetes, the filming of favorite movies including It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Frank Sinatra's call to ask him to be in Robin and the Seven Hoods (where he had to sing!), and much more.Regrettably, since writing the book, Falk has been stricken with Alzheimer's and ultimately passed away.Lightweight book, great subject, plenty of photos, even some sketches that Falk drew including a nice one of Columbo, a fast read (I'm not an especially fast reader but I knocked this off in one day).

I read it in a few hours. I loved him as Columbo and I believe I would have loved him had I the chance to meet him in person. A very funny,genuine and engaging book. Just one more thing, Thank you Peter Falk for years of priceless entertainment.

It is easy to picture Peter Falk sitting on the barstool ordering a favorite bowl of chili, talking about Columbo's cases and his interesting life and career. This book makes you feel like you're sitting next to him, listening and enjoying every word. A fun, lighthearted read with wonderful personal glimpses into a life filled with satisfying work, great friendships with equally talented movie and television people, and happiness in marriage.Such a rich life in every way. I highly recommend this book.

Hands down one of the best books I’ve had the pleasure of reading in a long time! It was like sitting in a comfy room with an old friend who’s telling you snippets of his beautiful life. I’ve always liked Peter Falk..I’m a huge Columbo fan..but after reading this book I just love the man! I highly recommend this book!

The book reads as though Peter Falk is talking to you; his writing style is conversational and the inclusion of some of his drawings is a real treat . I cherished each Columbo and a number of Peter Falk's movies. As I read, I reflected on his talent as an actor and thought how sad it is that so many of today's celebrities are far from his equal yet paid so much more.

If Falk's roles as Columbo and other characters pleased you, the same warm, self-deprecating personality comes through on the pages of this book. I only wish I had known about it earlier so I could have read it while this exceptionally talented actor was still alive.
